Hello everybody! It's been 23 days since we left Cape Cod Massachusetts. We skated through Rhode Island and Western Mass, skated across the New York border and then realized that although we put a lot of time and effort into planning this trip, we still need more planning. So I'm going back to the drawing board, building the group a bit more. We learned a lot from the experience about traveling, people, how to tell when the rain is about to begin, when it is and is not okay to bathe in lakes. thank you everybody for the support, I feel a little bad that I didn't complete the journey but I'm happy that I now know what I'm getting myself into.

My name is Camiron Lanoue and I'm from the town of Falmouth Massachusetts. On March 4th, 2012 I had this idea that not a lot of people are getting up and doing something amazing anymore. People have IPhones, Tablets, almost everything is at their fingertips. We are coming up to the point where we wont even need to leave our houses because food can be delivered, work can be done by somebody else and whatever on MTV is more important than what's going on outside. I sent an email to Guinness World Records telling them about how I would like to long board across the United States and make the record of fastest time. On April 4th, 2012 I received an email back from them confirming that they will honor my attempt and should I make it across they will put my name in the book!
I love long boarding and its always been one of my dreams to travel across the United States to see how others live, where I will fit in perfectly and to see the beauty of the scenery. I chose to attempt a record, to promote my idea of getting people to do something fantastic with their lives. It doesn't have to be setting a record of fastest time or highest height or what have you. It can be as simple as building a garden for yourself or your community or it can be as complex as playing soccer on the ocean floor. The point being just get out there and do what makes you happy. Do what makes you appreciate life that much more. If you have a dream but don't think you can do it, who's stopping you? Jump up and try it!
